Bob Dickson
President

Mr. Bob Dickson is Franchise Owner & President of Dale Carnegie Training of Western CT. Dale Carnegie Training is the oldest training company in the world, based on Dale Carnegie's world famous best seller: "How to Win Friends and Influence People." Dale Carnegie has over 170 offices, both franchised and company owned, in 70 countries on 6 continents. Mr. Dickson joined the company in July of 2004.

In Bob's first year as President (2005), his team earned multiple awards including the prestigious Presidents Club Award and the highly regarded Rookie Franchise Award. In FY 2006, Bob's team earned the highest level of accomplishment, the Chairman's Club award.

Bob is a Certified Trainer for the Sales Advantage and Leadership Training for Managers.

Prior to joining Dale Carnegie, Bob worked for Automatic Data Processing (ADP) in the Dealer Services Division. He held multiple positions including: Sales, Marketing and Training. Bob was an award winning sales person earning multiple awards including four President Club Awards. Bob increased his territories output by fifty percent to over two million dollars and consistently exceeded his quota by at least 10% each year.

Bob is a graduate of Central Connecticut State University (1992) with a degree in Communications with emphasis in public relations/mass media and a minor in Marketing. In 1988, he graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course and, in 2004 he graduated from Dale Carnegie's Sales Advantage Program. Taking his leadership skills to the next level, Bob completed Dale Carnegie's Leadership Training for Managers program in 2004 and the Dale Carnegie High Impact Presentations program in 2006.

A life long resident of Connecticut Bob lives in Watertown with his wife and son. His hobbies include biking, running, reading and cooking.

Lisa Gangemi
Sales Consultant

Ms. Lisa Gangemi is the Area Manager for Dale Carnegie Training of Western CT.
Her primary responsibility is to oversee the consultative services provided to all clients located in Fairfield, New Haven and Fairfield Counties. Lisa is also a Certified Trainer for The Dale Carnegie Course.

Lisa joined the company in 1995 and in her first 24 months of employment she learned how to be a consultant; graduated from The Dale Carnegie Course, The Sales Course, High Impact Presentations and successfully completed her training as a Certified Instructor. She also earned her first sales production award and has continued to be an award winner every year. Lisa was responsible for production in lower Fairfield County (Greenwich to Easton).

In 1997, Lisa worked with Greenwich Hospital under the umbrella of their Service Excellence initiative, creating an opportunity for 50 of their top leaders to participate in The Dale Carnegie Course. This 10 year relationship continues today and The Dale Carnegie Course has become part of the foundation of the hospital's success.
Other industries that Lisa has consulted for include: Healthcare, Manufacturing, Advertising, Marketing, Banking, IT and Education.

As an instructor, Lisa has taught many public programs as well as customized on-site projects. Her client list includes: Pratt & Whitney, Amphenol, Yankelovich Partners, MMA, Stop and Shop, Reed Exhibitions and Pitney Bowes.
After a brief hiatus from Dale Carnegie, Lisa returned as a Training Consultant under the direction of the new Franchise Owner, Bob Dickson. Shortly after resuming her responsibilities as a Training Consultant, she was asked to take on the role of Area Manager in order to make a larger contribution to building the new franchise.

Prior to joining Dale Carnegie in 1995, Lisa worked for Sprint, in Purchase, NY. She began her Sprint career as an Executive Assistant and began to climb the ladder by becoming a Customer Service Representative and then a Technical Support Representative in the Small Business Market. She was awarded The Quest Award for Excellence in Performance as recognition for her commitment to client service. Before Sprint, Lisa spent several years on the staff of the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation.

Lisa grew up in NY (the Bronx) and graduated from Fordham University with a B.S. in Business Administration with concentration in Marketing.
A 10 year resident of Connecticut, Lisa lives in Stratford with her husband, son and daughter. Lisa serves as Vice President on the Board of Trustees of her church and enjoys reading, playing with her children and spending time with family and friends.

Ro-Zanne Ho
Sales Consultant

Ro-Zanne's role as Sales Consultant entails reaching out to organizations and individuals to discover what they are trying to accomplish and determine how Dale Carnegie Training may be of service to them.

She has been living abroad (Singapore and the United States) for 13 years and loves to interact and communicate with people from different cultures. Ro-Zanne is originally from Malaysia.

Ro-Zanne worked as a Client Analyst/Consultant at The Nielsen Company prior to joining Dale Carnegie Training. She analyzed and reported on marketing data using qualitative and quantitative research that would effectively address client's strategic marketing and sales initiatives.

Her internships have exposed her to different industries, from the garment/clothing industry to the medical devices industry, to different job functions, such as marketing communications, business development, strategy and marketing.

Ro-Zanne is an active member of a public speaking organization, and she has won numerous speech competitions, such as the Humorous Speech Competition, the Best Evaluator Award, the Best Speaker Award and the Best Table Topics Award.

Her passion for public speaking and for connecting with people has propelled her to pursue a career in international business/marketing and intercultural communications.

Ro-Zanne is fluent in Cantonese, Chinese, English and Malay. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin Madison and obtained her graduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

In her leisure time, she loves to travel, meet people, salsa dance and karaoke.
